The city will come alive this summer with the arrival of 30 individually designed, hand painted Imps as part of the Lincoln Imp Trail. The Trail will run from Saturday 3rd July to Wednesday 8th September 2021 with thirty Imps being displayed throughout the city, and one taking up residence at the seaside in Skegness.
Five ‘Roaming’ Imps will move among shops and businesses – peeping out from window display across the city. All 31 Trail Imps and 5 Roaming Imps will be on display with the Education Trail Imps, decorated by schools across the county and managed by our Education Partner, EBP. We challenge you to find them all!
Speaking about the Trail, Sarah Loftus, Chief Executive at Lincoln BIG said: “We’re pleased to bring the Imp Trail to the city, and hope that everyone is able to enjoy it. The Imp Trail is a Covid-secure activity that will bring more visitors and residents back to the city, benefiting our local businesses and raise the spirits of our communities.
The fun, family friendly trail will be supported by an interactive, free to download app, leaflet, souvenirs, merchandise including a paint your own, mini-Imp and an auction catalogue. Mini-Imps are available to purchase from the Visitor Information Centre, Castle Square, or St Barnabas Hospice’s stores (when they are allowed to reopen) or by mail order.
