Rupert, who is in Lancaster Class, designed the imp after winning our competition. The competition criteria was that the imp had to represent Heighington Millfield Primary Academy, part of the Priory Federation of Academies Trust. Our school values are part of the school logo which features on our waterwheel.
Each of the words in our school values have been illustrated with an imp showing us how to demonstrate the value. Our waterwheel appears on the back of the imp, together with the water on the millpond. A rainbow flower appears on the back of the imp to pay homage to the NHS and the work they have done during the pandemic. The theme includes a stained glass window, designed to remind viewers of the windows in the Cathedral, the home of the imp, and the one in our school library
