Introducing Mr “EBA-nezer” Imp! When our imp arrived at school we showed him to all of the children and Miss Toyne asked each child to think of a possible design for him. We had SO many entries it was impossible to choose one! Mrs Scott, Miss Toyne and several other members of staff chose a range of ideas from those submitted and Miss Toyne incorporated them into one final design…and here you have it!
The finished design depicts ideas from the reception children in school all the way through to year 6. It shows many things that are important to us all within our school, Lincolnshire and the whole world. We later discovered that the word “EBA” means “life” in Latin, which made our design seem even more poignant. Then, together with the added help of the talented Miss Mercer, Miss Toyne and the 20 year 4 children presently participating in the Arts Award programme, we painted the design…transforming the blank canvas into our colourful friend!
